How much is a doctor's income?

Answer:

That is a good question,
But very hard to answer...

Not all Doctors get the same pay...

It all depends on the age, experience and specialty with a few other factors...

A Resident Doctor (age 28-30) makes around 50,000
But they also can "Moon-light" during the second year of residency and make 60-100$ and hr on a 24hr shift...

A Chief resident (3rd year resident) is in charge that year and gets about 20,000 more for that year ONLY, and when starting Fellowship after that, the pay will go back down to about 70,000...

Later in a Doctor's career, ( and when all of the 300,000$ loans are paid off) They make about 200,000-Millions, just depending on location, hospital, specialty, private practice ect...

BUT, don't you dare forget, doctors DO deserve the high pay rate, so much time and effort has been invested in what they have become...Sometimes it takes 6 to 20 years post-grad to get to where they want to be...and that is constant learning constant working and determination...My husband-to-be is a Young Doctor and I cannot believe what he has to go through mentally, physically and financially to be at starting point he is at now...Love to all of you Medical people...
