There are 4 major varieties of 1798 large cent. As of 11/2009, retail prices in average worn condition are:

1798 with the 8 over a 7: about $750

With the reverse of 1796 : about $900

First hairstyle : about $420

Second hairstyle : about $360

In any case these coins are sufficiently difficult to value that you'd need to take it to an expert for an in-person examination to get a more accurate figure.

Not enough information. During the 19th century dollars were struck from 1800 to 1803 and again during most of the years from 1836 to 1899. On top of that there were four separate mints that produced the denomination, so to identify your coin you'll need to provide more details.

Please post a new question with the coin's exact date, a description of its condition, and its mint mark if it has one. Thanks!

There were also US gold dollars and several privately-minted gold dollars, most notably the California Gold.

Liberty nickels were struck from 1883 to 1912 so there's a lot of ground to cover. Please post a new question with the coin's specific date, or check the link below for a price guide to all years.

Depending on the condition, an 1803 Indian Penny can be worth a lot. At worst, it would be worth $50 in today's market.

Depends purely on the coin. Anywhere from a dollar for a V nickel to hundreds of thousands if not millions on coins that are rare.
