From recent eBay results, these are not worth very much. While there are some claim to silver or gold plated, the presidential double eagles I've seen appear to be base metal. A few dozen have been on eBay in the last couple weeks, asking $2.99 to $9.99 each. I don't remember seeing any Reagan medals selling, so on eBay it's probably worth a dollar or two.
This type of medal can sell at flea markets if they are untarnished and unmarked, possibly for about $10, since they look nice and can attract impulse buys, but you'd need to be selling at the flea market.
It depends on the metal. Silver is worth quite a lot. For example, if there is gold in the coin the worth would be based on how much gold is actually there-about $20.00 to $2,000.00. Silver would of course be valued by its weight as well.
I believe you are referring to the Gold 20 dollar piece. prices are based on dates and overall condition. check on eBay to see prices.
There aren't any Reagan coins that were minted by the USA that I am aware of. So the word that pops up to me is commemorative, which has more of a nostalgia aspect then any real money value.
A date and denomination is needed. JFK is only on the half dollars, the term "Double Eagle" refers only to $20 gold coins. Post new question.
Department stores can sometimes carry formal dresses but if you're looking for a new one you might want to go to a dress shop. You'll get better quality and a much lower price.
You can't sell it outright but you can give it to the guy with the carboard sign on the street corner! LOL! LMAO!
Commemorative coins are worth about what you paid for them initially ($20). The exception would be if the coin was made from precious metals which could add value.
Double eagle commemorative 200 th aniversary
This coin has a eagle on one side and a double eagle on the other. On the side with the eagle head it has written American Eagle Bicentennial 1985 and on the side with the double eagle is written double eagle commemorative with stars and 200 years It appears to have a silver base with the eagle's done in gold. It is in a clear plastic case. Any ideas of worth?
The American Eagle Bicentennial quarter with the double eagle isn't overly valuable. In good condition, they can sell as high as $50 but no higher.
I actually have one right next to me, the one next to me is silver with a gold plated engravement of a double eagle and of Ronald W. Reagan. The one i have seems to be worth 20 - 30. The results on multiple websites seem to be "fake". By fake i mean all aluminum without the smallest attempt to make it look like the original. Seems like none of them have sold to much so if you are looking to sell one it should go up for $5.00 - $10.00
About $2.
$20
It appears on all denominations of the Gold Eagle coin, the gold 2015 U.S. Marshall $5 Commemorative, the 1987 gold $5 Constitution commemorative, the 1991 gold $5 Mount Rushmore commemorative. The eagle appears on many U.S. gold coins.
I just sold 3 of these coins for $ 2,200 dollars. Mint condition. eBay is full of these things in uncirculated condition for $20 each.
what is the value
