That depends on how big it is and what it is made of, and its "provenance"; where and how it was found, and its history. If the object was seen falling, it will be more valuable. Nickel-iron meteorites are more valuable than stony ones, and carbonaceous chondrites are more valuable yet.

You can purchase meteorites from collectors; they aren't cheap, but they aren't THAT expensive. A co-worker showed up at the office last year with a polished slice of a nickel-iron meteorite about 9 inches across, and nicely mounted with its provenance displayed. It was a few hundred dollars.

Lunar meteorites and Martian meteorites are extremely rare, and even more expensive. These are pieces of the Moon or Mars that were blasted back into space when a REALLY big rock hit the Moon, or Mars. These fragments then made their way to Earth.

a mediorites cost would definetally depend on its size, weight, and type one the size of an eraser would cost up to around $40 to $200

There are a number of companies that will sell recovered meteorites, but the price depends on the type, the provenance, the size and condition. Small stony meteorites are not too expensive, while larger ones can be quite pricy. Some meteorites offered for sale have been sliced and the interior polished, to reveal the interior luster; these can cost a lot more.

As with everything else, the value depends on the size and the scarcity. Some of them are pretty reasonable in price. If you know the source (the date of the fall, or the original parent body) they can be MUCH more valuable. For example, there are a few meteorites that have been identified as being lunar or Martian in origin; something big and fast slammed into Mars eons ago, and those Mars rocks were blasted into space and eventually hit the Earth. Those are pretty expensive.

It depends which type of meteorite it is. They can be worth millions-billion/s though.

If it is indeed a meteorite, the value would vary greatly depending on the size and type of the meteorite and whether it was part of a well-known meteorite fall.

Dr. Tony Phillips of SpaceWeather.com has a side business in meteorite samples, fragments and jewelry. It starts fairly inexpensively, but the larger the fragment, the higher the price.

A lot due to all the minerals inside it. That's for sure. Quadrillions probably. It will probably be the thing to dispute when we reach it.
