It depends on where you live. State taxes on cigarettes differ from state to state. In Ohio, I've gotten a pack of cigarettes for about $3.45; but here in Michigan it averages at about $5.50-$6.00. This answer might be invalid soon as the federal tax for cigarettes is sky-rocketing soon.
On Indian Reservations, at Airports or online you can find duty free cigarettes, at low prices
It depends where you buy them. It ranges from $3.00-$5.00. Also it depends on the brand type and stuff like that.

This absolutely depends on where you live. Our state just voted to put another $1.50 tax on each pack, which should bring it about $8.50-9.50. This $1.50 tax goes directly into the fund for the STATE health insurance for children whose parents have no health insurance. Approximately $5 would be the individual state tax on each pack.
Not exactly sure how you were going to finish the question, but here ais an answer:
A pack of 20 cigarettes generally costs between $3.50 and $5.00 (for popular/widely available brands). I buy Djarum Blacks from time to time and they're around the upper bound: $9.00.
It depends on the brand, where you buy them from, and sometimes trade (dollar value) I can buy a pack of Canadian Classics for $9.35 at one store, and down the road its $10.15. That's almost a dollar more for the same smokes!
In America right now, 1 pack is somewhere around $7 with tax depending on what kind you buy and where you buy them.
it varies from 7 dollars to around 12 dollars. its around 5.50 in michigan
