That depends upon what city you are in. And believe me, there are lots of yard sales that take place without permits.
If you don't get a permit, you probably won't pay any fee. Now, whether that breaks your local ordinances, no one here can really answer.
I heard it was $10 for 5 days
Pretty much anywhere. You may need to get a permit from your local government first though.
different cities and towns have different laws. Most larger cities require you to have permit. Smaller towns usually don't make you have a permit. Check wih local authorities to see about your town.
yes you do
i think you do because when i had my yard sale i had to get a 2 day permit for it so im pretty sure you do..
Actually depends on your town ordinance. Just because you have a yard sale without a permit does not mean one does not need to be obtained. Check with your town hall to be sure you are not fined! Some towns fine $100 per day of non-permitted yard sales.
not that much. a yard sale is stuff you dont want put a table and being sold in your yard. a garage sale is when you take out really old stuff from your garage and put it for sale.
This questions asks about local laws that vary from place to place. Where I am from, it is illegal to post any sign on public property, such as a lamppost or a tree. It is not illegal to have what we call a "stoop sale" (no one has yards here), as long as you live in the building in front of which you have the sale, you do not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic and you do not offer for sale any merchandise that is illegal to sell or requires a license or permit to sell. In some places, however, you must obtain a yard sale permit from the local town hall before you can hold or advertise a yard sale.
There is no yard sale.
