If this is the gold medal with the heraldic eagle on one side and the Statue of Liberty on the other, both heavily frosted, then is it the same as this one:Solid Gold Proof Medal... Flashy Mirrored Fields With Cameo Features...

Obverse : Statue Of Liberty... Reverse : Great Seal of the United States...

Comes in all Original Mint Packaging Including Cherrywood Presentation Case -

Outer Box - Certificate Of Authenticity... 12.9 grams (0.42oz) of .900 Fine Gold...

23mm diameter... Made By The U.S. Mint... Only 16,181 Minted

GOLD

0.378 oz pure $913 per ounce = $345 bullion value.

I have this coin as well and have been offered $450 for it from a coin buyer in Kingston, Ontario. Have not sold it. I believe it to be worth more! Although my coin makes no mention of the US Mint - rather it is the American Cin Company Inc from Studio City, Ca.

The U.S. Mint has never issued an American Revolution Bicentennial coin of any date.

Dual dated 1776-1976 Eisenhower dollars, Kennedy half dollars and Washington quarters with special bicentennial reverses were issued in 1975 & 1976 for the 1976 bicentennial, but not in 1972. Post a new question with the denomination of the coin.

None of the bicentennial dollar coins made for general circulation contain any silver or are worth more than face value. Only Proof and collectors coins sold from the US Mint are worth more.

What would the 1776 1976 Bicentennial coin with George Washington on it it has 500 fine gold stamp on it also?

This piece may be a Bicentennial medal made by the American Coin Company. It would be about the size of a penny and struck in .500 gold (10k) with a weight of 2.4 grams. It is NOT a U.S. Mint product. Take it to a jeweler, it's probably worth a few dollars.

How much is a 1776-1976 Bicentennial one dollar gold coin worth?

Gold plated, but not gold. Loads of private companies took ordinary Bicentennial coins, plated them with gold or silver, and sold them as "collectibles". But once the Bicentennial was over, the market tanked so they have essentially no value except as curiosities. It would actually cost more to recover the gold plating than you would get from selling it.

How much is a 1776 1976 Bicentennial one dollar gold coin worth?

The U.S. never struck any gold coins for the Bicentennial. Many Bicentennial dollars, halves and quarters were privately gold plated and sold as "Collectible" coins. The coins have no numismatic value. The coin is face value, unless you find someone that wants it.
