Sometimes, women with these procedures will have problems maintaining pregnancies due to "incompetent cervix" or "cervical shortening". Sometimes, doctors will place a stitch in the cervix called a cerclage which helps the cervix stay closed. If you do experience any of these, your doctor will most likely put you on bed rest either at home or in the hospital in more severe cases where a pregnancy is threatened. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a percentage. Just talk with your doctor about these issues if you become pregnant.
