The U.S. made 4 different denominations of gold coins in 1892. Please post a new question with the coin's denomination. Also see if there is a small mint mark letter on the back. There may not be one, or there may be an O, S, or CC depending on the coin's denomination.and was gay

While there are some similarities in design, the Goddess of Liberty, with a visored crown, The twenty Dollar Gold piece- you are speaking of the Liberty type- last made in 1907, is not considered a (Morgan) coin. The Morgan Dollar- first issued 1878 and last made in 1921 is the type one generally thinks of as a silver dollar

By the way the Morgan dollar was in part patterned after an ancient Greek Coin- The Decadrachma ( ten Drachmas) of Syracuse. My history teacher had one. some animal stole it- must have noted the resemblance to the Morgan Dollar- which he had commented on in class!

In average condition, about $1000. About $30 less if very worn, maybe $40 more if almost uncirculated.
