On the Apple website, the 8 gig iTouch is US$299 and the 16 gig is US$399. You can find them a little cheaper through other reputable dealers, and a good deal cheaper on eBay...or go to Circuit City but if you buy off eBay, caveat emptor.
You can also get a 32 gig iPod Touch for $499. If you get it off Apple.com, they also inclue free engravings.
and be sure to check out the 2nd generations!! (yea! they already have new ones, and they are quite a bit cheaper!)
