The appraisal of a musical instrument is basically an opinion of a professional regarding its market value. But trying to know its value is a difficult task. There are various factors which affect the current market value of your guitar. The first thing to know in order to know your guitar's worth is, what kind of guitar do you own? If you own a acoustic or an Electric Guitar, you need to know its model too. Many times, knowing the brand helps in knowing its worth. When you know the brand you can go online try to get its model name. Once you get your model name also, then it becomes easier for a good musical instrument appraisal. Next, you should know the condition of your instrument. The wood used and the condition of the fret board. See for scratches or damaged parts as these will help in getting a final appraisal for the instrument.
