As Far as the Value of one of his last autographs I would think you would have a hard time proving that. One of Babe Ruth's last public appearances was July 26, 1948 at the premier of the movie "The Babe Ruth Story." I don't know if he signed autographs. However the Babe was feeling very ill, and left well before the film was finished. Three weeks later, on Aug.16 1948 Babe Ruth Passed away. I guess if you were able to prove the Autograph was from that event it would add value it.
