A talent is an ancient measure of weight. Throughout history and in different countries talent varied in weight between 20 - 40 kilograms. So to convert it into monetary value, you at least need to determine who's talent, what year in history, and what's in a talent.

A talent is a measure that can be used for gold, silver, copper, or other substances. The ordinary talents (not for Temple-usage) weighed about 30 kilo. Let's assume that you're talking about silver. The silver talent had 3,000 shekels. Now you have to decide whether you're asking about today's worth (30 kilo silver at today's price) or its ancient purchasing power translated into today's food, rent, etc.; which was quite different. A single silver shekel was enough to support a small family for about one week.

How much was a talent worth in 100 BCE?

The silver talent had 3,000 shekels. Now you have to decide whether you're asking about today's worth (30 kilo silver at today's price) or its ancient purchasing power, which was quite different. How much is 100 talents of silver worth today in rands?

The ordinary talents (not for Temple-usage) weighed about 30 kilo. Each silver talent had 3,000 shekels. Now you have to decide whether you're asking about, today's worth (30 kilo silver per talent, at today's price) or its ancient purchasing power, which was quite different. A single silver shekel was enough to support a small family for about one week.At today's silver price, calculate: 100 times 30 kilo=3000 kilo (1.5 tonnes).Today's silver price at wholesale (July 14, 2017) is 6714 rand per kilo. So 100 talents would be 20,142,000 rand.

How much in kilograms does a hundred thousand talents of gold and a thousand thousand talents of silver weigh and their current value 1 Chronicle 22v14?

According to ChristianAnswers.net (see related link), the Hebrew talent, which consisted of 3000 "sanctuary shekels" (Exodus 38:25-26), is roughly 94 3/7 lbs avoirdupois. The Greek talent, however, was lighter. According to 2 Samuel 12:30, a talent of gold was twice the weight of a talent of silver. The current value of gold and silver fluctuates daily; as of October 14, 2008 12:22 pm EDT, one Troy ounce of gold is going for about US $ 826, while one Troy ounce of silver is at about US$ 10.81. Since the current market values are changing greatly, these values could be invalid at the time someone reads it. Still, given those values, a hundred thousand talents of gold would be worth roughly US$ 227,495,216,004.54, while a million ("thousand thousand") talents of silver would convert to US$ 14,886,339,497.64.

How much is 1100 shekels of silver in the old testament?

According to Judges 17:10, ten shekels was a decent day's wage. So 1100 shekels would have been 110 day's worth of pay. It was about 28 pounds of silver, which today would only bring about $12,544.

What is 30 pieces of silver in the 21st century?

That depends on what you mean by the question! It is assumed that the piece of silver referred to was a Shekel, which weighed about 15 grammes (about half an ounce). As a commodity, silver is worth around $20 an ounce, so in raw terms a Shekel is now worth $10, so 30 Shekels is worth $300 (£210). However I guess what you are asking is how much it is worth, adjusted for inflation. Well one Shekel would have been around a week's wages for a farm labourer which in today's money is about £290 ($410) in the UK, so 30 Shekels would be about £9000 ($13000). We know Judas went off with his 30 pieces of silver and bought a field, so that $13000 estimate is probably realistic.
