It all depends where you go. Chevy Dealer rates are $110 per hour. The auto shop next to my house charges $65 per hour and the one next to my workplace is $80 per hour. So you really have to shop around on your own. I don't have a shop book to find out how long it takes to replace a transmission but I am guessing this is a 5-8 hour job. Good luck.
