It varies from Pawn Shop to Pawn Shop because every shop will pay a different price. You probably will not get as much as you payed for the iPod just because you are selling it and you are selling it to a pawn shop and if you have scratches or marks on it then the sell price will go down even more and if it already has songs on it the price would go down more too. So there are a lot of things that come in to play I would ask for about twenty dollars less that you payed for it that is still a good price and if needed you could go down even more from there and still get some money in your pocket.
Every pawn shop is different in the prices that they will pay for iPods and other products. It mostly depends on the condition of the iPod, and whether or not it works, but you may not be able to get that much out of it, mostly due to the fact that iPods are available pretty much anywhere, and you can only get the iPod for less than retail price at any Pawn Shop.

Ebay is the best way to sell old jewelry and make money. Pawn shops are the best way to sell jewelry if you need money fast.
you can get an apple iPod touch in great condition for $159 ( BRAND NEW )... but if you get it at a pawn shop it will be $100 pr even LESS!
You can search for any local pawn shops and see how much you can get for your laptop there. Selling it online at Amazon or eBay is also an option, but it will probably not be as convenient as just selling it at a pawn shop.
Inform the police. Both the pawn shop and the individual selling it can be prosecuted.
