The price will be the same for all new releases and to quote the article I found for the release "Oddly enough, Minecraft: Pocket Edition began its run exclusively on Sony's Xperia Play phone before going on to iOS and Android devices to break sales records. On the home console front, PS3 players never got the game. PS4 players however, get it at launch as announced during Sony's Gamescom conference today." Others sources like IGN say Sony has announced that Mojang's Minecraft is coming to PlayStation 4 at launch. It's also headed to PS3 and Vita, according to creator Markus "Notch" Persson. Bottom line you can not even preorder a Minecraft for the PS3
