The expense, both physically and financially of Capris may not be worth the short term benefits. And there is the potential (according to at least one study) that cigarettes may cause subtle to negative cellular structural changes even if they don't cause malignant tumorous growth in the lungs, mouth, throat, esophagus, etc. They are smooth, but so is the skin of some snakes.
