How much pepto bismo can you give a dog?

Large dog 80-100 lbs try 2 tablespoons

Med dog 40- 70 lbs 2 teaspoons

small dog 1 teaspoon

Wait for about 2 hours, see if dog is feeling better, do not offer alot of water as they will throw this up also.

Try to feed about 5 hrs later feed lite like cooked rice or cooked oatmeal only a little, see if the dog holds it down, give the dog at least 2 hrs on holding the food down.

if you are doing this at night give the pepto and wait till morning.

if dog is still throwing up after pepto, try pepto again in 2 hrs. If you dog keeps eating grass sometimes that is a sign that they are trying to make themselves throw up.
(Of couse dogs do eat grass anyway) but they will do it in excess when sick.

If the dog keeps vomiting take to vet, check temp. The dog may have ingested something bad.
