Replacing the head gasket on an SL model Saturn is a fairly simply operation, requiring few tools beyond your basic, with the exception of a torque wrench, which can usually be rented or "checked out" from an Autozone or the like. So the question becomes: Are you doing it yourself? If so, it'll run you about 30 bucks (new gasket, scraper, etc), as for the alternative, I've no idea, since I did mine myself.
about 1200.00 with a year warranty and they do hone the head to assure proper fit.
Be sure head is pressure tested before you reinstall it SOHC 1.9 is known for cracking head.
