I have just got it done. it costs 270 $.
I just had an alternator replced in a 1996 Sentra. It cost $295.00 on 3/2/2006. The Firestone dealer wanted $325.00, plus tax, but I told him my son said it was too much. (My son is a mechanic living in another state.) My advice: Never accept the first price a mechanic gives you!
