If there are extenuating circumstances, you might not spend any time for "murder". But most likely, you are looking at spending a good chunk of time.
Usually the prosecuting attorney/DA's office will offer a plea deal to resolve the case without court. Depending on the evidence and strength of witnesses will affect the offer. Once that is accepted the judge will impose a sentence. Then time in the "can" will be adjusted by how one acts in prison and how they can show they have been rehabilitated. I have seen people commit murder and stay in a for three or four years. I have seen others spend a better part of their life (Many many years 15+) for murder.
Key is to not commit murder. Defend yourself if necessary to the point where there is no threat to you. If you anticipate killing someone, unless you are law enforcement, and still choose to be in that situation, you will probably spend over 10 years in prison.
overspend
It means you spend too much time being unconnected to the real world and the way things really are; or simply that you spend too much time alone or at home.
Someone who likes to shop so much that they typically spend far more than they should.
complex
To fancy someone is to enjoy their company very much. So much so, that you might spend a lot of time fantasizing about your real or imagined time(s) together.
Depends on "your" involvement. Don't know the laws of CA. Here in sunny FL probably life.
Definitely a felony offense. You would have to research the laws of your particular state for the maximum sentence under the law.
it depends on what law they broke. if they killed someone than it may be there entire life. it also depends on what the judge thinks. comments: I'm never going to Canada. -kewldude310
life sentence
It could depend on exactly WHAT you did to violate it. You could be returned to jail/prison to spend the remainder of your original sentence behind bars. Also, if you VOP'd by committing a new offense, you can be charged, tried and sentenced for THAT crime too, and have it added onto your current sentence.
Same as the guy that was going to do the murder, life in prison.
About 12 years in jail. If you do this you are committing a crime, fraud.
Life imprisonment.
It sends a message to society that if anyone is thinking about committing murder they should consider the consequences. If you kill, you will also be killed. If you choose to murder then you have made a choice to accept the consequences. It is rare (outside of war) for someone to commit a murder all the while thinking that they are committing a lawful act.Capital punishment also removes the perpetrator from society and thereby prevents him from committing any further crimes. There has been much debate on both sides of the issue.AnswerBecause they're trying to prove a point that killing is bad but they should also go to jail because they did kill a person and it was not self-defense.
depends upon who or how important you are
None. You have the right to remain silent, stupid.
