One cup per day per plant. This was told to me by a scientist who observed growing corn in South America during WW II. He said he watch a grower climb a cliff with a 5 gallon can of water each day, and give each corm stalk a cup of water. I Haven't verified it.

I live in Ohio and planting corn seeds is easy because i don't have to water them because they get enough rain. If where you live you don't get much rain you could water them a little but usually no watering is necessary.

You should water your corn with a couple gallons of water twice a week. Water needs will vary depending on the climate and type of soil.
