There are about 1,344,420,000 cubic kilometers or about 342,543,511 cubic miles of water in the oceans of the world, according to an estimate by NOAA. Some other estimates are a bit lower, and others a bit higher. Anyway, that's so much water that it is almost impossible to comprehend how much it is. It's about 1.34442 x 10²¹ liters, or about 3.55158 x 10²⁰ gallons. Any way you cut it, that's a lot of water.
