Actually, your metabolism will go into "starvation mode" and slow down. This is why recovering anorexics gain more weight back than they originally had before the eating disorder. Trust me; I've been there.
If you're really going to do the drastic scary weight loss strategy, eat a small amount every day, divided into four or five small snacks.
An intake of a small portion of food every few hours throughout the day will speed up your metabolism, AND you're guaranteed to still lose weight in a very small amount of time because of the substantial decrease in calories.
** i would just like to add that i dont know if it is just to do with my age/weight/metabolism but i started out at 8.8 (im 20 years old)and i drastically cut down on calories for around 2 weeks for my birthday party, i lost a stone in 2 weeks, and i actually still ate, just very little, and when i started eating again (not quite normally, but around 1000 calories a day) i havnt gaind any of it back at all, and im really happy with my weight now, and eat three healthy meals a day just small amount each meal. .... just wanted to add this to this answer because i read alot of answers saying u only lose water weight if you starve urself then u gain it back straight away if u eat, yeh maybe some people, but not me, so it may work for you to, totally depends on the person!! x
you are supposed to leave 800 calories in your body. so maybe just eat 800 or less and you'd still loose weight.
you lose 21IBS a week by just eatin 0-500 calories so a day u will lose 3
in a week 21 bc 7*3=21
yeah but I would not try it because ur goin to gain back as soon as u startin eat normally again!
