It depends. If your parcel contains a refrigerator (!?), it could be pretty expensive. If it's just a 20-30 lbs, 2X2X2 ft or so, it will cost you a hundred dollars or so (maybe $150 or $200 but not more).
It depends on where you are sending it from, the weight of the parcel, the shipping company etc. Look up this parcel forwarding service called Shipito. Their international shipping rates are low and discounted as compared to fedex, ups etc.
If you're buying stuff internationally, I would suggest to buy from an Australian retailer. This way you know that you'll be buying a quality product from a reputable company. When I've tried to buy goods from any country I often find that I can't get the company selling the goods to send it to me overseas.
I have found that in Australia there is a company called Onsend. (www.onsend.com.au) They send me my package quickly, securely and cheaply!
