I cannot quote you on your specific vehicle but I can offer some info. based on my own painful experience this afternoon. I took my 1992 Toyota Forerunner into a shop which I feel has always been honest with me, and since I knew it was a leaking brake line, I figured I would make it out of there for no more than $100 to $200. Unfortunately, since my truck has tons of rust due to its age and make, it turns out that, even though I only have one line leaking, there is another part that the lines all connect to, and that part is crumbling, so to make a long story short, since you can't unbolt totally rusted-out parts from one another, I have to have all lines replaced. I was told that the lines and parts are not costly at all, but the labor is expensive. In addition to all new lines, I am having two brake rotors turned and also pads on the front two wheels replaced. My total cost for parts and labor is $1,200. I thought I would pass out! The Toyota only has $86,000 miles on it and was my Dad's car bought brand new, and according to everyone I talk to, this Toyota and its engine are good for at least $250,000 total miles, so I guess it justifies this big repair bill. I asked why so much for labor and was told it has to due with the fact that the lines are not available as pre-bent, and it's the bending, routing and attaching of these five lines (and an additional small section in the very rear), which requires so much labor time. Best Wishes, Dex
