How many blue Xanax does it take to get high?

People say they get high with xanax, but I don't find that to be the case. I was prescribed for it following a tragic incident in which I lost loved ones and was on it for two months. It didn't work. Try coffee instead.

Better yet, don't take any drugs that aren't prescribed for you and then not until you have researched them thoroughly. Relying on other people for information is a crapshoot, and testing drugs on yourself is stupid.

Great Answer! There is a form of Xanax that is marketed as a sleep aid. It is called, "Halcyon". Xanax does not get you high, at all. It puts you to sleep.

Xanax(Alprazolam) often causes amnesia and disinhibition in moderate to high doses. While we normally might get bizarre ideas normal during daily life, our brain then tells us it's not a good idea and we act according to it. But Alprazolam can takeaway this inhibition and actually make you act out on such ludicrous ideas as stripping down and running through a crowded street while naked, or dry humping a police officer and peeing on his shoes. Followed by waking up in a padded holding cell in a hospital gown the next morning, with no idea how you got there. The more potent and short acting a Benzodiazepine (the class of drugs Alprazolam belongs to) is, the more prone they are to these types of side-effects.

No one can accurately say what dose you need to feel relaxed on Alprazolam and what the chance is you'll get disinhibited and act out crazy only to regret it later, so you're better off to find something else if you're so inclined to get high on something.

I've been taking xanax for a while. If I only have footballs (The blue ones) I have to take about 7 to get high. If I have the bars , I take about 1 and a half. Depends on your tolerance

Before I went to rehab I was taking about 10mgs of xanax at a time, about twice a day. I was also rinsing them down with half of a bottle of vodka each time too. Apparently I am lucky to be alive - according to my doctor. I had to go through a 13 day in-patient medical detox that I wouldn't wish on anybody. Pure hell.

For most people 4-6mgs will get you as high as you are looking for though.

You do not get high on Xanax . . . it puts you to sleep. In fact, there is a form of Xanax that is sold as a sleeping pill.

One blue Xanax should put you to sleep for several hours. Xanax is fairly addictive, as well.

• Well I just took 4mgs and feeling pretty good will probably take 1 more mg before bed... stressful night should get the job done hope I dont remember the night! but you cant OD on xanax as long as you dont mix it with any other drugs/alcohol. 4mgs and a dip is treating me well. If I were you dont know how often you take zanny but 2-4mgs you should be good you might fall asleep and wake up not remembering much
