well u shouldn't unless u r trying to get white hair,

Toner is a demi permanent color and can be used to tone blonde hair approximately every four weeks, depending upon how often the hair is shampooed. Toner should be used in order to achieve the desired blonde tones. It's not just for obtaining a white color.
**The first answer given to this question is a very good example as to why a professional hairstylist should always be consulted with.
you use a violet toner when you bleached your hair and it turned bright yellow . The toner will make your hair whiter like platinum blonde.
Usually when soneone wants white hair, theu use violet toner on pale blinde hair. Most use bleach to get to pale blonde.
If your hair is slightly orange, a toner with a BLUE base will neutralize that. If your hair is more gold, use a VIOLET based toner. If your hair is both orange/gold, you'll need a BLUE-VIOLET based toner. Mix with a 20 vol. cream developer.
yes it can, if you want blonde hair, you should get it done professionally by a stylist who will use bleach and a toner on your hair.
I use a toner conditioner called Blonde Glam by Redken. I wouldn't say that it "lightens" your hair, but if your hair is color treated it will tone out the brassy colors and lift your highlights. I've been happy with it so far.
Use a toner. You can find toners at Sallys Beauty Supply. You need to use an equal amount of developer in conjunction with the toner. There are hair swatches under the toners at the store to get the color toned down to a darker blond or light brown.
There are many toners that will tone bleached hair, but many require a Cosmetologist License in order to purchase them. The one I recommend however, that does not require a License, is Wella Color Charm toner available at Sally Beauty Supply. The Sales Reps are fairly knowledgeable and should be able to help you select the right toner & developer for your situation.
Use hair dye, I presume.
go to a hair dresser and ask them to tone your hair mine did it for around $40 but you can also buy toner in the super market for around $10you could also use a purple shampoo which takes the green out of it or you could dye it :]
yes you can.. i had bright red hair and wanted to go blond. so what i did is i bleached my hair i didn't leave it on for too long then i washed it of i dried my hair then i added a toner..I have red hair and instead of bleaching I use the John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner. There is also new one in this line that is called Sunstreaks Blonde that does a good job.I like what it does. It gives me blonde streaks in my hair and tones down the red a bit without total coverage of my red.
blonde is not a real color but actually a hair color. people use the word blonde as a slang word for "yellow hair". Blonde is a true hair colour. I was born blonde & both my children were also born blonde.
Just keep your hair brown. I have blonde hair but u also can use bleach
