How often do massage therapists work? |
[Edit] |
The actual time spent working on clients is called 'table time' and can range from about 16-25 hours per week, and this is generally considered full time for massage therapists. In addition to the table time, there is support time as well; laundry, paperwork, scheduling, etc. So in reality, an hour of massage can have up to an hour of support time. So, 16-25 hours a week can be thought of as full time work. In addition, many massage therapists work less than that, as a sideline, and only work part time.
