As you might be knowing felines hate water. But as it has lots of fur you should groom and shampoo it regularly. Brush it at least once every day. But, as your pet is an indoor cat, it might not be getting too dirty. Therefore, I suggest you should shampoo it once a week.
Answer 1:
Every week seems reasonable if he's a outside door cat and gets really dirty!
Answer 2:
That is, of course, if you can get through the ordeal without losing a limb!
Unless the cat gets super dirty all the time, s/he really shouldn't have to bathed often at all. I've never bathed any cat that I've had and most people I know wouldn't dream of trying to bathe a cat.
Unless you start giving your cat a bath when its a kitten then good luck trying to give it a bath once its grown. If you go to petsmart or whatever your local animal store is they have towelettes that you can wash them with and if its a petsmart then they also have kitty cleaner/ deoderant spray which is what I use and it does wonders for a stinky kitty. Good Luck
Indoor cats are very clean and rarely need baths unless they get into messes. I own an indoor cat myself and I only bathe her if an accident happens which I haven't had to do since she was a kitten. For two years she has been as clean as the day I last bathed her.
Most cats loved being brushed , so in case of a Persian breed every day will be a necessity because of their beautiful long coat( look at my bio page)Romeo is a long haired Tabby and His Royal Catship get brushed every day!!!)
I have had Persians for decades. Persians <3
As for baths, I would say also once a week, but Brush Daily! Keep an eye on their tail, sometimes it can get encrusted in the litter box Ewww! But that is something to watch.
I know it can be a challenge, but knots can turn into sores which has more to do with brushing than baths.
Also buy a kitty size tooth brush and brush their teeth at least once a week. Definitely a challenge with Persians because they have tiny mouths, just be very gentle and do not force it.
They have malt flavor, for some reason cats like it.
As seldom as possible. A healthy cat should be able to clean itself. Do brush or comb to help prevent hairballs.
As little as humanly possible - it's no fun !
It's usually said don't bath your cat more then twice a year. If you bath to often it will strip the fur of the oils it needs to stay healthy
it depends on your cat
How often you should wash your hair in a cold climate depends on your hair's natural greasiness and how comfortable you are with it. You should wash it whenever you feel like it is too greasy.
Huh? if you mean wash, you should never wash them otherwise they shrink and rack your balls.
It is recommended to wash a towel used for bathing after every use...
No a cat's pH is totally different from a human's http://www.adelaidevet.com.au/can-i-bath-my-cat
all you have to do is wash
Women should wash their hair at least every two days. But I wash my hair everyday.
Children should use a warm wash cloth to wash their faces, privates, and visible dirt daily. Then, twice a week, they should take a bath and wash their hair. In the bath, they should also wash their feet.
about once a week
twice a day without fail
You should wash your hair every other day or less if the hair is thinning.
Every other day should be enough
every 2 days is good for me
