Feeding frequency for 2-week-old puppies depends on several factors, including their breed, size, health, and the mother's milk supply. In general, very young puppies require frequent feeding to support their rapid growth and development.

Here's a general guideline for feeding 2-week-old puppies:

Mother's Milk: If the mother is present and able to nurse, she will typically feed her puppies every 1 to 2 hours. Mother's milk provides essential nutrients and antibodies necessary for the puppies' health and immunity.

Supplemental Feeding: If the mother is not available or unable to nurse, you'll need to provide a suitable milk replacement formula. Puppies should be fed approximately every 2 to 4 hours around the clock. This means you may have to wake up during the night to feed them.

Quantity: The amount of formula a 2-week-old puppy needs depends on their size, but a rough guideline is to feed them about 1/2 to 1 ounce (15-30 ml) of formula per ounce of body weight per day. This amount should be divided into several feedings throughout the day and night.

Gradual Transition: Puppies will gradually transition to more solid food as they grow older. Around the 3-4 week mark, you can introduce a gruel made by mixing high-quality puppy food with the milk replacement formula. The transition to solid food should be gradual to avoid digestive upset.

It's essential to monitor the puppies' weight and overall health to ensure they are getting enough nourishment. If you have concerns about the puppies' health or feeding schedule, it's advisable to consult with a veterinarian or a professional breeder who can provide personalized guidance based on the specific needs of the puppies. Additionally, be sure to use a high-quality commercial puppy milk replacement formula and follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing and feeding q° πŸŽ€ π’½π“‰π“‰π“…π“ˆ://𝒢𝓂𝓏𝓃.𝓉❀/πŸ₯πΈπΉπ“Œπ“‰πŸͺ𝓋 πŸŽ€ °q

If you have a 6 week old puppy i recommend you put Karo syrup in their water. Each week all less and less. first start off with 2 table spoons then go to 1 table spoon then progress to 2 teaspoons then to 1 teaspoons then no Karo syrup. for food i suggest Ceasers puppy formula get some hard food and mix them together. Add about half of the soft food then add about one to 2 table spoons of hard food good luck!!

Once fully weaned from the dam at around 8-10 weeks, just follow the feeding instructions on the high quality puppy chow that you are feeding him or her, up to the age of 3 months. At 3 months, you should probably switch your Lab to a high quality adult food already. By high quality, we mean "not a grocery store or large pet store chain brand." Buy your dog food in a smaller specialty pet food store, ideally a brand that does not include these words in the ingredients: wheat, corn, byproduct(s), or gluten. In addition, Labs are prone to getting fat because they have slow metabolisms, so make sure your puppy gets plenty of exercise, and the minute his or her waist seems to be disappearing, you know you need to reduce the quantity of kibble. Your vet can help you gauge your dog's weight. Labs sometimes benefit from a tablespoon or two of flax seed oil or salmon oil in their kibble (it's good for their skin and cardiovascular systems), but your vet can consult with you on that.

Puppies need to eat a lot--and not too much. You should be able to feel but not see their ribs, and they should have a visible waist when you look down at them. This is true for puppies of any breed, big or small. Here are some feeding guidelines for a puppy,

A six week old puppy should be fed four times per day. You should feed about 1/2 cup to the puppy four times each day.

You need to feed your puppy 4 times a day until it is 4 months old. Then feed it 2 times a day until it is about 8 months old. Then one good meal should do after that.

It should have at least another two weeks with its mother. Meanwhile, offer dry food and let it graze when it feels like it.
