Assuming you've already got the initial 3 shots over a period of 6 months, you should be set for life unless the blood test result shows a low and insufficient antibody level. Have this blood test done 10-15 years after the completion of the initial 3 shots when in doubt.

It's a 3 shot series (0,2,6 month apart). Supposedly, it's a one time thing. However, if you work in a health care setting and at risk for exposure, you may check your titers to see if your body mounted a response. You may consider a 2nd round if it did not work the first round.
