How often does a royal python take to shed?

Answer:

Usually about five days after the eyes blue over, her eyes will go back to normal and 2 days later he/she'll rub herself upagainst stuff to shed her skin! Can take longer though depending on the environment/climate that they're in, and on the individual snake itself. The frequency of shedding varies greatly - main factor is age/size. A young growing royal can shed every month - whereas an older one that's stopped growing won't shed as often!
