I use Methotrexate as a medication to help control Rheumatoid arthritis. At present I take 15 mg once a week, up from 10 mg, just before I go to bed. Because I take Methotrexate I also have to have a daily dose of folic acid 5mg as this will aid int protecting the kidneys. As well as this when you are on MTX you have to have regular blood tests to check for toxicity.
