You don't have to bath a guinea pig, But if you want a healthy, clean and very happy guinea pig, bath it once per week... with a maximum of 3 times per week.
Make sure you have special shampoo, that you can get from the vets or pet stores, other wise a rash may break out. If this happens cut back on the bathing.
