How old do you have to be in Indiana to get married legally?

[Edit]

Answer

I believe in most places it's 16, but you need to check with the Indiana state law book on the age to marry for girls and boys since usually the lesser applies to girls or guys or which ever comes first.

A 17-year-old may marry with the parental permission. A 15 or 16-year-old must have parental permission and the consent of a judge of the circuit court in the county of residence; anyone under the age of 15 cannot be married. These laws apply to both genders.
