How old do you think you got to be to stop living and ready for the Rocking chair?

Hopefully, never. If you ever believe you must stop living and take up the rocking chair, they can measure you for your casket that day.
Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that once they get to a certain age, life has passed them by. In fact, if you asked this question fifty years ago, people would have told you that by the time you were in your sixties, you have reached old age. But today, the idea of "old age" has changed. Few people who have reached their sixties believe they are ready for any rocking chair. In fact, some people in their sixties are starting new careers, going back to school, having successful relationships, and keeping busy with many other activities.
There are more people today who think the idea of "old age" is a state of mind. Yes, your body ages and you can't do some of the things at 65 that you did at 25. But if you believe you are old, then you may convince yourself that you are indeed an old person. However, keep in mind that "old age" is not always chronological. There are young 70 year olds, and old 40 year olds. It's often a matter of how healthy you are and how much you keep your mind occupied. In fact, these days, there are seventy and eighty year olds who enjoy their career and have a very active life. So, there is no longer an official age when you "stop living"-- the more you stay active and busy with things you enjoy, the more rewarding your life will be, even as you get older.
That said, some people really do want to retire, to quit working and relax. The retirement age varies in many cities (and countries). In the USA, some people retire when they are 65, or try to scale back and work part time. But others do not retire at that age; they either want to work because they enjoy it, or they have a financial need to continue working.

A rocking chair usually moves a bit if there is the slightest draft in the apartement.Just turn the rocking chair on it´s side on the floor and you notice it does not move anylonger. If you think this is too controversial, just block the movement by stocking something under the chair,

no you cannot it does not involve any form of muscle tear and repair process because its too simple and its not vigorous enough. Umm....yes you do burn calories rocking in a chair, you burn calories just sitting in a chair, and in a rocking chair you are moving and I have read that you can burn up to 150 calories an hour.....you also burn more calories standing as apposed to sitting and I dont think standing involves muscle tear and repair.....hope this helps
