∙ 14y agoTypically at least the age of majority in your state, unless there are extreme circumstances that show you capable of caring for them before that time. Regardless of age you would have to show that you meet the same standards that must be met by any other foster parent and are able to provide for the needs of the child. The best resource for information would be your siblings caseworker.
