∙ 13y agoyou could say that the religion started in the 1800's when Joseph Smith got his first vision, found the golden tablets and started publicly practicing the religion, however, it could also be argued that the religion started at Creation, which is the first chapter of the Old tesement of The Bible which is used in all Christian religions. The Book of Mormon which is another testement of Jesus Christ tells the stories of when Christ visited the Aincent Americas, this book is used in the Mormon faith.
