As told to me by a social worker, TN has no set law on this. If anything happens in the parents absence, ie illness, injury, fire, etc... the parent can be charged with neglect and/or have their children removed.
it depends how trustworthy both children are but i would say about 14-15

Everyone will have their own opinion of how old kids should be to watch R rated movies. In order to be admitted to theaters showing R rated movies, kids have to be 17. Parents, of course, can determine if their child can watch them at a younger age at home.
That depends on what you mean. If you mean the reply to "thanks", it is to - "you are welcome".If you mean "you are welcome here" it is hokahe or tanyan yahi.

No matter where you live you should never leave a young child in charge. I would suggest 13 years of age. It would also be helpful if they had a babysitting certificate which shows they know CPR, and other medical help.
That your younger sibling will ALWAYS look up to you as an example, even if you dont realize it.
If an older child is raising their younger sibling on a fairly constant basis it robs the older child of their private lives with friends and doing things that they should be doing in order to look back on life full of memories of their childhood. Often the older child may come resentful if they are looked upon as a constant babysitter. If the parents are not around and the older sibling is under the age of 18 (no longer a minor) then relatives should be brought in to help look after both of them.

Yes not unlessshe has a restraining order. Ask her why she wants to prevent you guys from seeing each other and let her know how important seeing your sibling is to you. Maybe if you try resoning with her you guys can work something out. If not then you should get advice from a free lawyer around your area.

There is no law that specifies. However, you have to be squared away and competent in order to be trusted with taking care of those younger than you. Most people believe that a 12 or 13 year old can be left alone at home for a couple hours during the day. Which means they should probably be a bit older to take care of younger individuals.
