Heath Ledger died in Manhattan, New York on January 22nd 2008. His cause of death was accidental overdose of prescription medications. He was 28 years, 9 months and 18 days old when he died.
He overdosed on prescription medications that he wasn't even supposed to take on that day. I believe he died in his sleep, it caused some internal bleeding.
