She was on her maiden voyage when she sank.
The Titanic is 100 years old in April of 2012. The Titanic hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean on the night of April 14, 1912, during its maiden voyage, and sank on April 15, 1912, killing 1,500 people.
The Titanic has been under water for 98 years but it has really been 104 years since Titanic was built.

∙ 13y agoWell, the last Survivor was Millvina Dean, who died in 2009 at age 97.
But, Mary Wilburn was 104 when she died in 1987.
So if you want to know who lived to longest, it's Mary Wilburn. But if you want to know who died last/was the last living survivor of the wreck, it is Millvina Dean.
