How poverty can be eradicate by food industry?

Answer:

Poverty will not be eradicated by feeding the poor. It is doubtful that poverty can be eradicated. More than 2,000 years ago a man by the name of Jesus admonished his apostles when they took him to task for allowing the woman Mary to spread expensive oils on his feet, arguing that those oils could be sold to help the poor. Jesus responded by saying:

"The poor you have with you always, I am only here for a short time. Let the womans worship me."

Feeding the poor from food grown and harvested by someone other than the poor does only soothes the ache of hunger and is a temporary solution to an age old problem. As the saying goes, you can give a man a fish and feed him for the day or you can teach that man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. The food industry in many countries across the world has made tremendous efforts in feeding the poor and yet the poor are still here, waiting for more food. Conversely, there are many who have struggled in poverty but persevered and rose up out of poverty to gain access to a comfortable living and some even rose up to true and genuine wealth. In the end, poverty can only be eradicated on an individual basis by those stricken with it. To rise up and be more than who we are, rich or poor, is a noble and necessary goal if we are ever to reach a point where everyone can flourish and prosper.
