Prophet dealt with fitna in a very wise and rmarkable manner. he first asked the people producing fitnah to stop their anti-social activities. then he warned them of military action. Many stopped their activities. For those who still continued, he sent an army who laid seige to their ciy and asked them to surrender. If they did not comply, then the army attacked them iwth full force.
