If I was you I would mark no and then explain to them why you answered it this way. Most employers will understand why you dont want your current employer to find out you are looking for employment elswhere.
A different perspectiveAs someone who evaluates applications and interviews and hires people I would unequivocally state that you should always answer yes. ing no to this question indicates you have something to hide. Any company looking at applicants already assumes the candidate does not want their current employer to know they are searching for a new job, and of course it will show on your application that you are currently employed by said company. If somebody does contact your current employer, it means you already have the job and they're following up by checking facts.you should contact your employer
They should have been mailed to you by your employer. Contact them.
You should get periodic statements or you can check with your employer for contact info.
The destitute wife should contact the employer if she wants this to be done and ask the employer if it possible to do this IF she does request to do it.
Your employer should have their records electronically stored. The 401K is usually with a separate company anyhow. You will need to find out who sponsors your 401k and their contact information. Your employer will have access to this.
Stop talking
Contact the employer. Did you move or change your address and not update your employers records? Perhaps it was returned to them by the Post Office.
Not unless you really need him or if he's significant
Yes you do. If you don't have enough respect for your employer to do that, you should be looking for a new employer. And don't forget, no matter what your job description says, one of your duties is to make your boss and your employer look good.
If you type in what you are looking for, then it should pop up.
If such a scenario arises, the employer should be procecuted under the existing law of the land. A case has to be registered by the employees against the unscrupulous employer for cheating.
If you had a job that nobody else was familiar with then it is reasonable that your employer has to contact you now and again about work related matters.
