Well, It depends on how far along you are in your pregnancy. For example, my sister's mucous plug came out when she was 35 weeks pregnant and my nephew was born about 13 days later. So I guess it depends.
Yes. Some babies don't drop until later in labor, which can sound depressing at the time, but it is amazing how quickly things can progress.
There is no hard and fast answer to that. Babies can drop weeks before labor starts, or right before (or even during) labor.
Took me a few weeks from the baby dropping until contractions picked up... & i still ended up being induced.
The baby can drop in labor. It is always not easy to distinguish when the baby drops. I have had 3 children and never knew when they dropped I only knew when labor kicked in.
Not necessarily; a "low" baby can be carried to full term (happened to me).
It is very hard to predict exactly when you will go into labor, but a few signs that labor is coming soon are: * Loss of your mucous plug * The baby drops * Braxton hicks contractions become stronger and more frequent
12 to 24 hrs
Going into labor is what the woman's body does to prepare to deliver the baby. Men can't get pregnant, therefore can't deliver a baby, hence have no need to go into labor.
It all depends on when the baby is ready. You can be thinned out and dilated for some time before labor truly begins.
You dont! the baby comes and ur water breaks and theres no way you can make yourself go into labor.
Nothing, it is too soon.
well it all depends on how far dilated you are...and if you dilate quickly...every person is different...walking helps send you into labor...but if your water breaks try to walk as little as possible if the embilical cord falls out before the baby comes it can cause internal bleeding and harm the baby Answer If it is your first baby it is quite normal for the head to engage by 36 weeks and has no bearing on how soon you will go into labor. Walking does NOT help you go into labor, once you are in labor it may help speed things along but that is all. If the head is engaged the umbilical cord is not going to fall out but if the waters break you should go to the hospital as after 24 hours there is a danger of infection.
In order to begin the process of giving birth to a baby, the women goes into labor for the baby to move downwards into the birth canal ready to push it out.
as soon as you lose your mucus plug you should go to the hospital cause the baby is on its way
if you are 3 weeks pregnant, and your effaced 90% i'd say that you need to go get that checked out? 3 weeks prego means you have ur entire 9 months left to go!! if you go into labor soon, you probably wont be delivering a fullterm healthy baby
