I think the answer is different for everyone. I don't think a re-bound relationship is fair to the other person & I want a serious relationship so I would wait until he's not on my mind 1st thing every morning and last every night. I would give myself time to heal, which will be different for each individual depending on the relationship they were in. Only you know when you're ready. If you go on a date and you're not ready, you will know it while you're on that date. It's important to get "yourself back" and get your confidence if you've lost it. Just do what's good for you and be good to yourself so that when the time comes you'll have something to offer someone else and be able to recognize someone who has something to offer in a relationship. Figure out and fix whatever your part was that helped to cause the break-up so that the same thing doesn't happen next time you date.
I was in a very serious relationship a week ago and we broke up. We were moving very quickly and we were only in 8th grade. What annoyed me the most was that she kept saying I Love You. I know she doesnt love me, she doesnt know what love means yet. Shes the kind of girl that gets attached to stupid things, like her 16 year old cat died and she was hung up over it for 3 weeks. She had her head down and wouldn't talk to anyone. Anyways I want to date again but I don't want to hurt her feelings. The thing is though we both knew she didnt seriously LOVE me but she will refuse to admit it. So if I start dating again she will act upset but deep down she knows she isn't. So what im saying is don't let them stop you from dating because if they don't care anyway it shouldn't matter.
It does not matter as long as you are happy.
no,but soon they are getting back together again
Of course she will! She is gonna be on tour soon with NO DOUBT! yay!

If it was a hard breakup, I will give him three months. An easy breakup a week.
They repeat it all the time so you should see it sometime soon.
No

Yes, if he's already contacting you 30 minutes after the date.
as soon as they can feel comfortable, being honest to the other person
One thing you need to know is, you shouldn't date after seperation with pain just with the feeling of getting back your ex, whether you were married or had a longer relationship. When you start to date again, you are dealing with a person and the person will take everything that is happening seriously and you cannot break their heart later. This can be a selfish attitude. Its not a good thing either to go looking for a person to date. When to date can be harder to decide. The best thing is to leave to time as time decides and gets you that special person in an unexpected way and time. It could be after a few months once your breakup or even a year and more.
You should get it on the anniversary or at least as soon as possible before the date of the anniversary.
