They have adjustable sensitivity, i have mine on highest. There quite strange because talking will set them off but the equivalent music volume wont, and i have a 300w Sony 2.1 system. that said my computer isn't next to the subwoofer. I can't have my music at a volume they will react to because of my pathetic parents.
