How strong is a chevy 10 bolt rear end?

decently strong if your talking about a 10 bolt with an 8.5 ring gear...the ten bolts to stay away from are those from the 80's monte carlos. they only have 7.5-7.6 ring gears with 26-27 spline axels... very very weak!
