A Dachshund can be 14-18 inches (35-45cm)
Basically, a Dachshund has different sizes. For example, a mini is a small one, and looks a lot smaller than a regular one. A tweenie, (which just happens to be the size of mine) is in between, and can grow about 7 in. off the ground, my estimation. Last, there is a full. Wich can grow very big, but i cannot say how. I have never seen a full one. I know, its sad.

I believe they get like 3 or 4 inches tall, cuz we had a miniature dacshiund at one time, and he didnt get that tall, that's why they were named miniature. hope this helped.
it really depends on what type your dachshund is
Standard adult daschunds range from 16 to 32 lbs.
not very, they are very small and cute.
Most Dachshunds stand from 5 to 9 inches.
A Miniature Dachshund is 13 - 23 cm tall.
Dachshunds are adorable. Long skinny short hot dog dogs :)
Shorthaired and Longhaired Dachshunds had appeared in Europe since the 15th century, and Wirehaired Dachshunds were first bred in 1790.
Yes! Long-haired Dachshunds shedding is much more noticeable, but it doesn't occur all the time. Short-haired Dachshunds shed year-round, but you can't really tell. I'm not sure about wire-haired ones, though.
Because dachshunds have long bodies like frankfurters. They are adorably cute!!!!! I love my dachshunds! And because they have nothing better to do....
Fourteen to sixteen years.
Yes, they do, especially in summer months. I have two Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds and they shed quite alot unless you brush them frequently.
So they can go down holes to catch mice and rats.
There is a wealth of information available on dachshunds on the link below.
Because their Back is long like a Hot Dog wiener
Dachshunds live to about 6 years in recorded history.
ANSWERDachshunds have problems such as back injeries and their ears are very exposed to infection. Though all dog breeds should be watched about ear infections. Dachshunds also love to dig so their nails can get ripped off or just grow too long.
In general, dachshunds eat similar things to what other dogs eat. However, because of their elongated spines, their food intake must be controlled. Weight gain can be very problematic and possibly fatal for a dachshund. As they grow, it is recommended that they get food with natural glucosamine.
